New White Paper Explores Opportunities in Next Evolution in Wide Format Print

Alexandria, VA - August 30, 2017 -- A new white paper from ISA, Capturing the Next Evolution of Wide Format Print Opportunities, offers insight into where the print industry is headed. The white paper, prepared by Key Point Intelligence and sponsored by EFI™, looks at a number of emerging areas of opportunity, including high-end point-of-purchase and point-of-sale; short-run packaging and prototyping; soft signage; and digital labels.

It also looks at niche markets, such as thermoforming, home interiors and architectural elements. The goal is to help printers explore how they “can capitalize on some of the newest wide format print opportunities in today’s evolving industry. An extensive wide format product line can enable sign, graphics, and visual communications companies—including printers—to expand their offerings and penetrate new and emerging market segments,” the report’s authors write.

The white paper finds that today’s printers have more opportunities to broaden their service offerings—and increase revenue. But to do so, they must contend with an increasingly crowded market place and fierce competition.

The white paper is available free to ISA and affiliated association members or $24.95 for non-members. Learn more at www.signs.org/research.
