Economic Impact of the Sign Industry Study

In 2014, Ernst & Young conducted research and interviewed more than 1,000 sign companies to determine the Economic Impact of the Sign and Visual Communications Industry in the United States. The results will help the industry better communicate its influence to government officials and other stakeholders. ISA and affiliate members can obtain a complimentary copy, and non-members can purchase a copy for $1,000.

Ernst & Young’s research breaks down economic information on a state-by-state basis, including sign company employment numbers and economic output per year, as of 2012, and more. The infographics also contain data from a survey conducted by Villanova University.
