SETTING UP YOUR ACCOUNT


STEP 1

Go to www.twitter.com.




STEP 2

Find the “New to Twitter” area and click the “Sign Up” button.

This will take you to a page where you’ll fill in your name, email (use your business email address) and password. You’ll also need a username. We suggest using your business’s name or something business-related.




STEP 3

For now, skip through the next few screens. These setup pages can be time-consuming. Just make sure you click the confirmation area and then check your email for the link to confirm your account.




STEP 4

Once you confirm your account, it will take you back to Twitter where you can set up your profile.




WHO SHOULD YOU FOLLOW?


This is easy! Besides tracking down your current customers, follow businesses and people that you’d like to do business with.
