ISA has surveyed both companies that have hosted Sign MFG Day events and students who attended them, and the impact is clear – Sign MFG Day creates awareness and changes perceptions about careers in the sign industry.
Relationships built between participating companies, educators at technical schools, and touring students have generated immediate hiring and internships, creating a win-win for both educators and sign companies. Visiting community leaders have also learned the importance of manufacturing to the local community and economy.
