The MSA Virtual Fall Focus, November 10-11, will give members a chance to learn more about several topics, while also having two opportunities to visit and work with other members in small breakout groups.
With a surge in Covid-19 cases in the days prior to the in-person MSA Annual Meeting scheduled for early September, the MSA Board made the difficult decision to cancel the in-person meeting due to safety concerns.
However, MSA is pleased to offer its mem-bers one more opportunity in 2021 to spend quality time with sign industry friends and associates.
November 10: “Zebras & Ostriches: How to Develop Your Own Employee Engagement Plan.” The key difference between a success-ful organization and one that doesn’t last is the level of engaged employees. That is, how well your company performs is directly linked to the level of enthusiasm, excitement, and energy your employees feel when they go to work. Research continues to point out that employees who are significantly engaged out-perform work groups that are under-engaged. These challenges become even more acute as organizations are seeking to increase em-ployee retention and reduce turnover.
The program will include the 4 Tier Employee Needs Model to Engage and Retain Your Best People.
November 11: “Chase One Rabbit - The Top Three Strategies to Develop Your Own Suc-cess Habits.” We are inundated with data. We live in a data rich society, but are information poor.
As a result, we often find ourselves repeatedly stuck in the same rut. What if there was a bet-ter way to get more stuff done? What if we could actually be more productive by doing less?
This session provides real world, practical advice for how you can start setting more realis-tic and achievable goals. Get some momen-tum in your work day, your home life, and even working towards your goals and dreams for tomorrow.
You will learn to utilize the 15-minute rule to increase personal productivity and to imple-ment an incredibly simple and effective “One Word” goal-setting strategy.
Each day of the two-day virtual event will begin at 11:00 am and will conclude by 12:45 pm. And each day will include a breakout ses-sion where you will be able to work with a few other MSA members to develop responses to specific questions and to talk more extensive-ly with a small group of members.
Registration information will be available through the USPS and on the MSA website soon.
