After much consideration and consultation, Visual Merchandising Store Design (VMSD) magazine has reached the decision to transform its annual International Retail Design Conference (IRDC) to a virtual event scheduled to air October 28-29.
From IRDC conference director, Jennifer Acevedo, "The event is being reimagined as a virtual event, and we're excited to bring you an enriching experience with all the education and networking that our conference-goers anticipate each year."
The virtual experience will include two days packed with keynotes, lively panel discussions, and networking with leading retail design professionals from around the world. All delivered through an interactive, dynamic online platform.
The agenda includes an inspiring and diverse group of global retail design innovators and influencers such as:
- RON THURSTON, author, Retail Pride: The Guide to Celebrating your Accidental Career
- MICHAEL BENEVILLE, Chief Creative Officer, AREA15
- BEVAN BLOEMENDAAL, VP, Global Environments, Timberland
- SAMAR YOUNES, VP, Creative Director, Showfields
- ALASDAIR LENNOX, Group Executive Creative Director of Experience, Americas, Landor & FITCH
A one-of-a-kind conference, IRDC features design dialogue centered on best practices, evolving trends and fresh strategies for engaging shoppers and maximizing resources.
Approaching its 20th year, IRDC is recognized as the premier educational and networking event for store design and visual merchandising professionals and draws attendees from the U.S. and abroad each year.
IRDC will resume its plans for hosting the annual event in Denver August 24-26, 2021.
