Christina Galgan of Walgreens Joins ISA Board of Directors in Key Volunteer Leadership Position

Alexandria, VA – February 3, 2012

Christina Galgan of Walgreens in Deerfield, Ill., has joined the Board of Directors for the International Sign Association, representing the business identity division.

“I am committed to build awareness, act on opportunities and to expand thinking and knowledge of the signage industry,” Galgan said. “I know I will gain more than I can give to this forward-thinking organization and I am truly honored to serve the sign industry as part of the ISA Board of Directors.”

Galgan joined Walgreens in 2002. In her current role, she ensures a cohesive exterior signage solution to unify building architecture and Walgreens’ established brand identity throughout the company’s 7,700-plus retail pharmacy locations. She also manages new store signage designs, large-scale exterior signage rollouts, and flagship location custom sign design for Walgreens. She resides in Zion, Ill., with her husband Tadd and two children.

“The sign and visual communications industry is extremely diverse and it’s important that our Board of Directors reflects the breadth of the industry,” said Lori Anderson, ISA president and CEO. “I’m excited about the experience Christina brings to the board and know that she will add tremendous insight.”

As the sign industry’s leading trade association, the International Sign Association promotes and improves the worldwide sign industry through educational, advocacy, and networking initiatives.
