David Watson of Watchfire Signs Join ISA Board of Directors in Key Volunteer Leadership Position

Alexandria, VA – January 25, 2012

David Watson, national accounts manager for Watchfire Signs by Time-O-Matic, has rejoined the Board of Directors for the International Sign Association for a second term, representing the suppliers division.

In addition to his board role, Watson continues as chair of ISA’s education committee and was named chair of the energy subcommittee in 2012. He also was a member of the tradeshow committee and contributed to the development of ISA’s International Sign Academy and Crane Safety Certification program.

“I’ve been in this industry since 1987 and it’s been good to me,” said Watson, who is based in the Birmingham area. “It’s important to me to do my part to help others enjoy a great career in the sign industry.”

Watson also has served on the Board of Directors of the Florida Sign Association and the Mid South Sign Association.

“The sign and visual communications industry is extremely diverse and it’s important that our Board of Directors reflects the breadth of the industry,” said Lori Anderson, ISA president and CEO. “I’m excited about the experience David brings to the board and know that he will add tremendous insight.”

As the sign industry’s leading trade association, the International Sign Association promotes and improves the worldwide sign industry through educational, advocacy, and networking initiatives.
