International Sign Expo 2012 Set to Exceed 2011’s Strong Showing

Alexandria, VA – September 20, 2011

Returning to Orlando in 2012, ISA’s International Sign Expo 2012 will continue to build upon its reputation as the must-attend event in the sign and graphics industry. Already, 85 percent of the exhibit hall space is sold out for the premier trade show in the on-premise sign industry, which is March 21-24, 2012 in Orlando, Fla.

International Sign Expo 2011, which was held in May in Las Vegas, drew more than 19,000 attendees, marking the strongest event in the sign and visual communications industry in the past five years. Attendees were able to visit 1,900 exhibit booths showcasing the latest trends and technologies.

“Our 2011 exhibit hall floor was teeming with new products and, based on the exhibitors who have already committed to 2012, we’re certainly expecting that to increase,” said Lori Anderson, ISA’s president and CEO. “I am certain that International Sign Expo 2012 will be the place to network with the industry’s top professionals, see the latest technologies and conduct business.”

As the premier event in the sign, digital printing and communications industry, International Sign Expo focuses on three key areas:

  • Trade Show: The exhibit hall floor showcases the breadth of the industry, with hundreds of exhibitors showcasing the latest products and services. Companies representing every facet of manufacturing and supplies are on board for 2012. Coatings, channel letters, printing machinery, lighting and dynamic digital systems are among the items that will be on display. Companies already committed to exhibit range from A.L.L. Innovations, based in Australia, to Florida-based Zuni Scrolling Signs. The industry’s largest firms, such as 3M, General Electric, Nova Polymers, and Roland DGA, are included as well. • Education: Designed to address the broad spectrum of professional talents—from graphic design to sign installation—included in today’s sign industry, International Sign Expo offers the strongest educational offerings in the sign and visual communications industry. Packages are customizable and cover the following topics: Customer Service, Digital Electronic Signage, Digital Print Imaging, Electrical/Structural, Estimating/Project Management, Graphic Arts/Design, Hands-On/Demonstration, Legislative Management, Production/Fabrication, Sales/Marketing, Sustainability and Workplace Safety.
  • Networking: With the industry’s top professionals gathered in one place, it’s only natural that business relationships are formed and solidified. Networking happens in formal settings, such as the Global Sign Forum and the ISA/Southern States Sign Council Golf Tournament, and informally, such as events hosted by manufacturers.

In addition, the latest new products and environmentally friendly offerings will be recognized.

“International Sign Expo 2012 will offer hundreds of ideas of ways to grow a sign and visual communications business,” Anderson said. “With just a few days in Orlando, sign professionals will be better able to make educated purchasing decisions, to discover their next big ideas and make valuable connections with future business partners and peers.”

Registration for International Sign Expo 2012 is now open at www.signexpo.org. In the coming weeks, a schedule of events and links to make travel arrangements will be posted on the site as well.
