ISA launched a new digital badge program on October 1, 2018 which has reinvigorated industry excitement for the online courses.
725 digital badges, and growing, have been awarded. 4 individuals have reached the highest level of participation, earning the “Sign Industry Professional” badge.
Individuals are choosing from among the 70 industry-specific courses to improve their skills, learn new ones and build the knowledge they need to perform their job. And corporations are offering the courses 24/7, even on their mobile devices, to their employees to educate, engage and onboard new employees.
The newest course, Intro to Signage, provides an overview of the functions of each department within a sign, graphics and visual communications company to help create a big picture of the creation of a sign. The course also covers specifics on each type of sign, such as freestanding signs vs. building-mounted signs.
