Ultraflex Named Coolest New Product at ISA International Sign Expo 2010 Alexandria, VA - April 26, 2010
Ultraflex’s Descor is taking the sign industry deeper into home improvement with a high-quality, printable textile that can be frame-mounted or hung in traditional fashion. The product recently was named winner of the International Sign Association’s New Product Showcase and can claim the title of Coolest New Product for 2010 for the sign industry.
Descor took home the prize after a competition that included nearly two dozen companies, all with new products that have launched within the past year. Each had two minutes to pitch those products during an event at ISA International Sign Expo 2010, held in early April in Orlando, Florida, attendees then chose the winner. Descor products may be printed with UV, screen or dye-sub; a digital/solvent-printable version also is available.
“As the sign industry’s largest expo, we are accustomed to exhibitors making news with new products,” said ISA President and CEO Lori Anderson. “With the addition of the New Product Showcase in 2009, ISA Sign Expo has become the place to see the latest products that can potentially revolutionize the sign industry. With innovations such as Descor and the other products showcased, sign professionals can begin to visualize new business opportunities or ways to improve their existing services.”
The International Sign Association’s annual event brings together tens of thousands of sign professionals from around the world to network and visit more than 1,600 exhibit booths. The event is scheduled for April 2011 in at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
